They Will Not Pass

Diagnostika-M, a Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone resident, has developed a AI-based perimeter security system.
Artificial intelligence should replace the traditional means of security: fences, motion sensors and surveillance cameras. On a large area such systems are basically not very effective: the operator's load increases, the human factor intervenes.

At the same time, companies are increasingly refusing the physical presence of guards at autonomously operating facilities: for example, power substations, step-down transformers, gas compressor stations, telecommunications towers.

A new development by Diagnostika-M will make it possible to detect possible preparations for an invasion to a protected area, to identify and to record vectors of movement and actions of intruders as well as their number, which will help to prevent possible damage. A smart security system can be used in air and sea ports, energy, oil and gas infrastructure facilities, prisons, border controls, and private property.

A new security concept often does not require physical fencing at all. The AI surveillance system tracks the territory at long range and altitude by monitoring a given virtual perimeter and allows even one operator to control the security of a large or widely dispersed area. The uniqueness of the development has already attracted potential customers from Slovakia, who have purchased the system components for testing. The company plans to start full-scale production of the system in Q4 2020.

Radar Modifications:

  • DR-500 - a radar designed for the detection and trajectory control of drone movement as well as ground objects in protected areas.
  • GR-800 - a radar designed to the detection and trajectory control of ground objects movement like people, vehicles or boats in protected areas.

"Traditional security methods with sensors work either at the time of intrusion, or they state that the intrusion has already taken place. Another significant disadvantage of traditional security systems is the frequent false alarms, which over time dull the guards' attention and weaken their vigilance at the time of actual intrusion. The new system will make it possible to detect possible preparations for an invasion to a protected area, to identify the vectors of movement of intruders and their number".
