A landscape park and a social educational center were created, the drainage infrastructure and transport system were modernized. "An excellent example of trends combination is the redevelopment of coastline industrial zones, placemaking (creating value through the development of comfortable and safe public areas), a combination of several transport modes (subway / river trolley allowing to quickly reach downtown Manhattan). It is noteworthy that, despite such a high commercial potential, the project is being implemented by a state company to fulfill the important social function of providing affordable housing for the population."
