In 1997, a sustainable development scientific and industrial cluster based on the Duquesne University was established in the Uptown district of Pittsburgh. But in recent years, the area has fallen into disrepair. The development program provides for the abandoned sites development and the reduction of parking lots, which now account for 37% of the territory.
