The Kursk Nuclear Power Plant has the most powerful transformer in Russia, TC-630000/330. Its capacity is 630 MVA, and it weights 400 tons. This giant was produced in 2007 by the Moscow-based company Electrozavod that is a part of ERSO group of companies since 2021. Today, engineers of this innovative enterprise create digital twin power grids and automated city management systems. Recently, supported by the government, they also have started to contribute to the hydrogen energy market.
