The first electric elevator in Moscow was installed in 1901 in a commercial building on Rozhdestvensky Boulevard. Seven years later, the first public elevator was commissioned. The Kursk Nuclear Power Plant has the most powerful transformer in Russia, TC-630000/330. Its capacity is 630 MVA, and it weights 400 tons.
