Moscow Factories Can Be Visited Online Now

The Open#Mosprom project website has published the first series of the special issue of Moscow factories and plants.
When online touring anyone can see, how robots weld cable reinforcements in order to provide communities with Wi-Fi access points, how a continuous freezer produces ice-cream, how elevators are assembled, or pipes are manufactured.

"Open#Mosprom Phase 5 was successfully completed in February 2020. Over 3,000 people attended free online tours to Moscow industrial plants. Nowadays, the pandemic made it almost impossible to visit a production facility. That's why tour went online to let people keep familiarizing with the Moscow industry," Alexandr Prokhorov, Head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, said.

The first online project series are devoted to the Baskin Robbins ice-cream factory, the Moscow oil refinery and the Svyazstroydetal plant. The operation of Moscow factories is available on
