On May 23, 2020, new production lines of the Cheryomushki confectionery and bakery plant was opened in Moscow. THE ENTERPRISE was visited by Sergei Sobyanin and Aleksandr Prokhorov.
The new workshop produces 50 tons of Stolichny, Borodinsky and Darnitsky bread per day.
Cheryomushki employs 955 people and daily produces about 100 tons of fresh wheat and rye&wheat bread, enriched bread, short and puff pastries.

The project was supported by the Moscow Government; the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy allocated RUR 137 m as subsidies for equipment lease. RUR 52 m of these were approved in 2019, and an application for another RUR 85 m has been submitted in 2020. In addition, in 2016 Cheryomushki was granted the industrial complex status, which allowed the company to receive additional development funds as tax incentives in the amount of more than RUR 15 m.
The project investment made RUR 750 bn. The company has created 50 additional jobs. Thanks to the state-of-the-art equipment, productivity has increased by 2.5 times.
The lines were launched as part of the first stage of an investment project to create a new production workshop. Until the end of 2023, 4 lines with a total capacity of up to 100 tons per day will be installed on an area of 6,000 sq. m. The investment volume is RUR 1.5 bn. About 100 new jobs will be created.
Last year, the company sold 31,600 tons of products. The Moscow budget revenues in 2019 amounted to RUR 67.2 bn.
